First date: Women all set to Sex it up!

It’s usually a Man who makes the first move! Really! Does it stand true even today?
In “Sex and the City,” Carrie Bradshaw asks one of the great questions of our time: “In an age where women enjoy the same money and successes as men, why shouldn’t a woman be able to enjoy sex like a man?”

Well, a survey was conducted over 1000 users of online dating over a 2 months period. It was found that over 60% of the users polled that they would consider having sex on their first date. Out of which nearly 1/3rd or 33% users were sure that they would have sex on their first date if given the chance.

“Sex has become a staple of the dating world and more and more people are jumping on the band wagon.”

With changing times, people’s perceptions have changed. The research conducted in the past by ‘YouGov’ showed a completely contrasting image. In this survey it was found that 62% of respondents would prefer a nice cup of tea to sex and rest 38% of respondents said they would prefer sex over tea.
“Further studies on this have shown that women in particular have become more liberal than they were a few years ago. A study done on 740 women showed that 30% of them admitted to having sex on a first date.”
In addition to this another survey was polled on 568 women. The research found that every third woman had intimate relationship with her virtual partner on the first date. 27% of women were ready for more. They were ready for oral sex with their new partners.

Out of the 20,000 female users of online dating surveyed, 34% would wait less than one date (or six hours) before having sex with someone they'd just met.

It’s interesting and shocking at the same time to read the findings of this research. But it’s so true. Call it desperation out of loneliness, love or lust, yet it’s most enjoyable. Sex is definitely the ‘in trend’ whether one is in a relationship or not. The survey does suggest that you have a greater chance this year of having sex on your first date than you did last year. The guilt attached with the term sex is slowly fading out.
Women have come out of their shell and broken their stereotype image and role in sex. More women are now very honest about their sexual desires. Discussing or even having sex on the first date is no more subject of surprise. The label of being promiscuous does not follow any one anymore. It’s no more gender dependent.
To have sex or not have sex on the first date completely depends on one’s personal feelings towards their partner or partners. The beauty of this change is that the gap or the difference in attitude between men and women towards sex is filling up. This is both helpful in forming a steady as well an understanding relation. Some have sex for gratification and some to express their emotions. The point is everyone does have sex.
