Smart women have more orgasms!

A cross-sectional study was conducted, looking at whether there was a relationship between emotional intelligence and frequency of orgasms in women.

Research shows that women with the ability to express their feelings and understand other’s have better sex lives. A study was conducted on 2,000 twins. The study revealed the fact that woman with a high emotional intelligence (EI) had more orgasms. “The findings show that emotional intelligence is an advantage in many aspects of your life, including the bedroom”, said Tim Spector.

8,418 female twins aged between 18 and 83 were sent a questionnaire. The anonymous questionnaire included questions about sexual behavior and functioning. This included two questions about how often the woman achieved orgasm during sexual intercourse and masturbation. Frequency of achieving orgasm was categorized using a seven-point scale: ‘never’- less than 25% of the time and over 75% of the time or ‘always’. Women who were no longer sexually active were asked to report their frequency of orgasm while they were sexually active.

Another research was conducted on 2300 women on foreplay. They were quizzed about their sex lives, and questions were asked on foreplay and intercourse. The study found that the main event is more important than foreplay.
“In contrast to the assumptions of many sex therapists and educators, more attention should be given to improve quality and duration of intercourse rather than foreplay.

Women who tend to understand the feelings or desires of a partner; they are certainly the ones with high Emotional Intelligence quotient. Experience does count when it comes to sex. Many would think perhaps beautiful women are not intelligent; hence, they are not good in bed. Well that’s not true at all. Here we are talking about Emotional Intelligence. This ability to fantasize or imagine during the course of action helps a women to reach orgasm point faster.
